Dashavtar...
Dashavtar
How does it relate evolution of life on earth ?
Hey hi,
A really interesting topic today, 'MYTHOLOGY' term really could take anyone's intrest,as it's always something that relates science in a magical way.
In this blog let us look at how can we relate 'Evolution' with the mythological incartions or the avatars of Lord Vishnu on Earth known as 'Dashavtar'.
What are Dashavtar?
As religious beliefs it's always ones thinking that God always helps us in situations and always protect us against the evil.
As people tell ,Lord Vishnu at times took incarnations on earth to fight the evil so to maintain harmony and peace on Earth. Till there are 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu.
How the term Dashavatar derived ?
As Lord Vishnu took 10 avatars(incarnation).
The term 10 Avatars in Sanskrit means,"10=Dash,and avatars which makes it Dashavtar.
Which are these avatars?
1)Matsya- matsya(fish).Life in water.
2)Kurma- Kurma(tortoise).Amphibian.life on both land and in water.
3)Varaha- varaha(boar🐗).Life on land.
4)Narsinha- Narsinha( lion men).Life which has human and animal body.
5)Batu vaman- Batu vaman (small man)Life which is evolved as human(stepping towards knowledge).
6)Parshuram- Parshuram(Man with 'parshu' a weapon), evolved for self survival, use of weapon.
7)Rama- Rama(ideal man). Starting to civilisation.
8)Krishna- Krishna(Ideal Guide) . Enlightnment of karma(deeds) and dharma(duty).
9)Buddha- Buddha(Man with Peace). Propagation of Peaceful lifestyle, meditation and religious beliefs.
10)Kalki- Kalki(Evil finisher). The avatar haven't yet came in existence. But is said to come in 21st century in kaliyug.
This avatar refers to developement of society and would destroy all the evil from the world.
So this were the avatars of Vishnu.which really relates evolution on Earth in way really scientific.
The stories might be mythological but the chronology of the incarnations is really somewhat accurate with that of evolution on Earth......
